The 3rd Additional Activities partner meeting and the seminar of the CLEAN project will focus on the knowledge transfer on measures addressing energy efficiency in the context of Covid-19 between CLEAN regions, measures that can be translated into policy improvements.

The event takes place in the city of Sundsvall (Sweden) hosted by Regional Council of Västernorrland and the project meeting and the thematic workshop will be streamed to all project partners and their stakeholders regardless of their presence in County Västernorrland.

The topic of the thematic workshop is "Measures to improve energy efficiency of public buildings".
Each project partner will prepare a presentation showcasing practices from their regions.

3rd CLEAN Partners' Meeting and Thematic Seminar

The 3rd Interreg Europe funded CLEAN project meeting will be organised in Västernorrland, Sweden on August 9th - 10th and will focus on the good examples to improve energy efficiency and renewable energy. The meeting will be held in a hybrid mode.
During the study visit CLEAN 3rd Interregional Seminar will focus to facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge transfer on measures addressing the energy efficiency in the context of Covid-19.
The partner meeting will discuss the status of the additional activities' implementation and the policy instruments' improvements linked to COVID-19.
The aim of the thematic seminar is to exchange practices between CLEAN regions related to energy efficiency measures took in the context of COVID 19.

Study Visit - Mid Sweden University
Researchers at Mid Sweden University have developed high-capacity batteries using a novel nanomaterial with results that show an increase of capacity by 10 percent. This increase will be of importance for the electric car industry.
Study Visit 2 - Sundsvall hospital
Using snow to run its cooling system. The technology greatly reduces both the energy consumption and the environmental impact of the hospital. 90 percent less energy is consumed in the cooling of the hospital facilities.
