The 2nd Additional Activities partner meeting and the seminar of the CLEAN project will focus on the knowledge transfer on measures addressing energy efficiency in the context of Covid-19 between CLEAN regions, measures that can be translated into policy improvements.

The event takes place in the city of Joensuu (Finland) and the project meeting and the thematic workshop will be streamed to all project partners and their stakeholders regardless of their presence in North Karelia.

The topic of the thematic workshop is Recent regional measures and highlights to cut emissions and to improve energy efficiency of public buildings.
Each project partner will prepare a presentation showcasing practices from their regions.

The 2nd partners' meeting and thematic seminar (as part of the additional activities) were organised in Joensuu, North Karelia on May 17th - 18th in a hybrid format.


Aim
The focus of the PM was to discuss the status of the additional activities' implementation and the policy instruments' improvements linked to COVID - 19.
The aim of the thematic seminar was to exchange practices between CLEAN regions related to energy efficiency measures took in the context of COVID 19.
Objectives
• 1. Discuss and agree on the deadlines for the finalisation of the additional activities
• 2. Discuss and agree on the integration of new policy instruments in the context of COVID 19
• 3. Exchange of practices related to energy efficiency in public buildings in the context of COVID 19
